Our doors are open every week. Here is when we gather and what you can expect when you join us.
Sunday Morning Worship
Live StreamOur primary weekly gathering. We open with congregational singing, spend time in prayer, hear the Word preached from Scripture, and close with an invitation to respond. Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month.
Adult Sunday School
Immediately following the worship service, adults gather for Sunday School — a time of deeper Bible study, discussion, and fellowship in a smaller group setting.
Wednesday Bible Study
A mid-week gathering for adults to study Scripture together, share life, and pray for one another. All are welcome regardless of background or experience.
Women's Bible Study
Thursday evenings are set aside for the women of Ava to open the Word together, encourage one another, and grow in faith and friendship.

What to Expect on Sunday
Never been to Ava before? Here is what a typical Sunday morning looks like.
Arrive & Be Welcomed
Come as you are. You will be greeted at the door by members of our congregation. There is no dress code — what matters is that you are here.
Congregational Worship
We open with hymns and contemporary songs of praise. Hymnals and song sheets are available in the pews. Sing along, or simply listen — both are welcome.
Scripture & Sermon
Pastor Blue Vardaman preaches directly from the Bible each week. Sermons are grounded in the text, practical for daily life, and delivered with warmth and conviction.
Prayer & Response
We close each service with a time of prayer and an open invitation to respond — whether that means accepting Christ, requesting prayer, or simply sitting in the presence of God.
Fellowship
After the service, stay and connect. Coffee, conversation, and community are a big part of who we are. Sunday School follows for those who want to go deeper.
